Kolay market is the largest wholesale market which is opposite to the Sealdah railway station (the busiest railway station in Asia), Kolkata. Supply of vegetables and other raw materials are supplied from different places of rural areas of West Bengal and from adjuscent states of West Bengal, India, in Kolay market thousands of migrant labours mostly from bihar work long hours to unload from the trucks which arrives from different places. Each earn Rs 500/ 7.91$ per day (their labour charges depends on the weight of the load they carry each day) and they return home only once in a year its also affecting their health since they can't even sleep for long hours as because whenever the truck arrives they had to rush for unloading the vegetables from the truck
